Oil separator 2901021300 is used for Atlas Copco Air Compressor
It uses the combination of high and low precision fiberglass filter
paper, wound more than ten layers of fiberglass filter paper in the
middle net as the main filter layer.
The oil mist in the compressed air is intercepted, collided,
diffused and gathered. Small oil droplets quickly gather into large
oil droplets, which pass through the polymerization layer under the
push of pneumatic and gravity, and accumulate at the bottom of the
filter element. Then, the oil return pipe inlet at the bottom of
the filter element is returned to the lubrication system.

Replacement method of oil air separator
Stop the air compressor, close the air pressure outlet, open the
drain valve, and after confirming that the system is pressure-free,
remove the old oil and gas separator and replace it with a new one.
1. There is a safety valve on the end cover of the oil separation
tank of the air compressor. When the air pressure in the oil
separation tank reaches 1.1 times the set value, the safety valve
will automatically open to release part of the air and reduce the
air pressure in the oil separation tank. The method to check the
safety valve is to gently pull the vent lever on the safety valve
when the compressor is working at full load. If the safety valve
can discharge outward, it is considered normal.
2. There is a pressure gauge on the oil separation tank to detect
the pre-filter pressure. The bottom of the oil separation tank is
equipped with a drain valve. The drain valve should be opened
regularly to let off the water and dirt deposited on the bottom of
the oil separation tank.
3. There is a transparent oil level mirror beside the oil
separation tank to show the level of the oil separation tank. The
correct oil level is when the air compressor is working normally,
the oil level is in the middle of the upper and lower degrees. If
it is too high, it will run away, and if it is too low, it will
affect the safety of the whole machine.
